Terms of Service — Goal Seek for Google Sheets
1. Who provides the add-on
The Goal Seek add-on ("the add-on") is provided by Fabian Hönes (contact: kontakt@arbeitstyp.de). By installing or using the add-on you agree to these terms.
2. License and permitted use
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the add-on inside Google Sheets. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer or misrepresent the add-on as your own.
3. Free plan
The add-on is currently free of charge, with a fair-use limit of 5 runs per day (resetting at midnight Central European Time). We may change plans or limits for future versions; changes never apply retroactively to runs you have already made.
4. How the add-on changes your data
A goal-seek run intentionally writes trial values into the one variable cell you selected and offers to restore the original content afterwards. You remain responsible for reviewing results before relying on them. Details on data handling are in the privacy policy — in short: your data never leaves your spreadsheet.
5. Warranty and liability
The add-on is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Numerical results depend on your formulas and inputs; no guarantee is given that a solution exists or is found. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence; mandatory statutory liability (including under German law for injury to life, body or health) remains unaffected.
6. Availability and changes
The add-on runs on Google infrastructure; availability depends on Google Workspace. We may update, change or discontinue the add-on. If a change affects these terms or data handling, the relevant document is updated with a new effective date before the change ships.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
